Privacy
This page explains, in plain language, how Healthcare Student GPS handles information today. Browsing is not completely anonymous, and the site is not cookie-free. That does not mean we collect every kind of data, and it is not a promise of a particular privacy law or registered nonprofit status.
Using the website
Students and families can browse without creating an account. Looking around does not create a student profile, and public sign-up is turned off.
When you choose a starting point, career, country, or school, those choices can appear in the page address. They can also show up in your browser history and in the ordinary request the website host receives.
Looking up published school and pathway information uses our data service so the pages can show current listings. No advertising tools or visitor analytics are installed right now.
Contacting us
The Contact Us form asks for an optional name, an optional email, and a required message. Name is only to know who wrote. Email is only if you want a reply. The message is the note itself.
We use those details to receive your enquiry and, when you include an email, to reply. A reply is not guaranteed. The form does not create an account. Please do not include grades, medical information, passwords, or other sensitive personal information.
Cookies and technical information
Opening a page can send ordinary technical details to the website host, such as the address of the page, your network address, and your browser type. Those details can appear in hosting records. We have not published how long those records are kept.
Cookies may be used for restricted access. If someone signs in on a staff sign-in page, the browser can keep sign-in cookies for that visit. Restricted preview access may also use hosting access cookies. Everyday student browsing does not require those cookies.
Service providers
We use other companies to run the website and to hold published school information. They may process the technical details above on their systems, which can be outside the country you are in.
Contact-form messages are sent by email. A separate service limits how often the same connection can send.
Service provider details
- Vercel hosts the website and may keep ordinary request records.
- Supabase holds published school and pathway information and may keep similar request records.
- Resend delivers contact-form emails.
- Upstash supports contact-form rate limiting. It stores short hashed counters for that limit, not the message text or a visitor email address.
